Question by Jordan: How does my petition sound? I, Jordan ******, am a student at ***** ******* High School. I have started this petition with the hope that it would add a new seal to the possible two you can receive at graduation. Many other schools in (state) offer a Fine Arts Seal, such as W****** County, Central, and C****** County High Schools. Many students at ********** High School are active in Drama and Art, but not Agriculture, Business Education, etc., which are required for an extra seal. The proposed Fine Arts Seal would require four credits of Fine Arts, similar to the Career Tech Seal. I believe in equal opportunities for every student, even if their future vocational goals don’t include farming, typing, or teaching. I tried to star out all the personal information, so use your imagination. Tell me what I should change though! My fine arts teacher really really wants there to be a seal but hes too afraid to bring it up with the principal. Oh, and yes tons of…. Click here to Read More

Question by Dillie The Kid: I want to be a Veterinarian which major should i choose?( I’m going to my sophomore year)? These are the majors in agriculture that my school offers. Agriscience Foundation Agritechnology 1 Agritechnology 2 Introductory Horticulture Horticulture Science 3 Horticulture Science & Services 4 Agribusiness Cooperative Education OJT Agriculture Education Directed Study Best answer: Answer by Katie AActually, none of those are something I would choose if I were pre-vet. You might want to consider something like just doing Biology if your school doesn’t offer an Animal Science degree with a pre-vet option. You need to be more concerned with taking all the pre-requisite courses for vet school admittance, and I doubt any of those majors would cover the courses you need. Go to the website of the vet school you plan to apply to, and see what credits in what courses they require for you to get in (it should say number of hours of physics, chem, math, bio,….
