I gave this gift to my son-in-law for Christmas. Being that he loves to cook and use all sorts of herbs, he was thrilled with the gift. He liked the idea that he could purchase more variety kits for his garden. He will set it up in a few weeks.

I would love to review this but they won’t send it. It’s been well over two weeks. Customer service says it will be shipped “in a couple of days”. That was a week ago and it’s still sitting there. I’ve looked on the internet and this company has a terrible reputation for service, but with a great product. I was intending to order several for Xmas presents, now I wouldn’t dream of it.

Got this for Christmas last year. It drains electricity like crazy – my bill was almost doubled! In addition, the lights are on in the middle of the night and are nearly blinding. Not worth it for herbs you can easily grow outside in pots.

I was going to buy on of these for my family for Christmas this year, but consider that the unit uses “less than” 60 watts (According to their web site) of electricity for appr. 17 hours a day which comes out to about $23 to $27 dollars per month on your electrical bill, depending on where you live in America. I decided to pass…great idea though….
