I had previously bought some more expensive grass shears from my local home improvement store – not only did I get blisters from the lack of cushion on the handles (yes, I forgot to wear my garden gloves) but the blades rusted in the humidity of the summer. These are a far superior product – excellent value for the price. These shears have very comfortable handles, and I love the non-stick coating on the shears. These have been indispensible in the small areas and tight corners of my yard that I don’t want to use my string trimmer.

I bought a different hand trimmer before this one, which was terrible. This one is sturdy and cuts well. I’ve had it for months now and the foam padding on the handles and the blades themselves have held up. Just what I was looking for in a trimmer.

These are built okay. Comfortable handle, good blades and such. There is a latch to keep the blades closed when not in use. The latch latches itself over and over while using them, Gets real irritating after a while. If you remove the wire latch, it solves the problem. Shouldn’t have to alter a brand new tool but if you want to stay sane, you may have to.

These shears are sturdy – and comfortable on my almost 60 year old hands. I expect to put them to good use for many seasons.
The catch is not the easiest to manage, but is secure – most important.

Ship’d from AZ – 15th April – arrived today – 20th – Had almost hoped they would come next week as had promised neighbor they would get a ‘test ride’ around her more than 100 running feet of flowerbed bricks/edgings – Took less than 1.5 hour.
The grip is perfect – the cushioned handles are non-slip / blade length excellent – easy lock/unlock and rounded tips for safety – and 2 boot a 10 yr warranty –
