Award-Winning System Saves Money, Time, and Worry
The Oasis Automatic Drip Watering System received top honors at the 2007 National Hardware Show and was recognized as the Product of the Year by Hardware Retailing magazine.

The system’s water distribution tank avoids the problem of leaky faucets, helping to conserve water and prevent moisture damage. And because Oasis is powered by a single 9V battery that provides enough power to operate the system for up to one year, it helps you save money on electricity bills.

20 drippers deliver water to your plants when you’re away. View larger.

The Claber Oasis Automatic Drip Watering System is easy to install right out of the box–setup takes just minutes. And with its intuitive design that features a single set of controls, the Oasis is a snap to use. Simply place the unit on a sturdy surface that’s at least 2-1/2 feet above your tallest pot, insert a 9V battery (not included), install the system’s distribution hose and drippers, fill the tank with water and choose your program. It’s that easy!

An added bonus, an LED signals when the Oasis is in operation or when the battery is low, so you never have to worry about your plants going without the water they need. One 9V battery will power your system for an entire year.

Large Tank with Electronic Timer and Four Different Watering Programs
The distribution tank has a capacity of 6.6 gallons and features four convenient watering programs: 10, 20, 30, and 40 days. Each program is designed to deliver a perfectly calibrated amount of water to as many as 20 plants, so you can stop worrying about over- or under-watering. And with a built-in electronic timer and water-saving bi-stable solenoid valve, this unique watering system guarantees efficient delivery of water each and every time you use it.

The Oasis precisely measures water to suit your specific needs. Each program waters twice per day, and the amount of water is equally distributed to your plants. The 10-day program delivers 4.05 ounces of water per dripper per day; the 20-day program delivers 2.02 ounces of water per dripper per day; the 30-day program delivers 1.35 ounces of water per dripper per day; and the 40-day program delivers 1.01 ounces of water per dripper per day. Generally speaking, one dripper is sufficient for small and medium plants; two drippers are recommended for larger plants.

Easy Cleaning and Storage
Cleaning the Oasis takes just minutes: simply wipe all of the parts with a damp rag and let dry. The internal water filter can also be treated with a mixture of water and distilled vinegar to eliminate any lime scale.

The Oasis Self-Watering System’s small profile allows for easy storage in a closet or cabinet. Preparing the unit for storage is simple: just remove the battery, drain the water from the tank and hose, clean, dry, and store.

The Oasis Automatic Drip Watering System’s attractive, modern styling fits well with any décor, and its soft rubber feet keep it secure on any surface and eliminate scratching. To ensure long-lasting use, the Oasis features high-quality materials and construction and is backed by a 2-year warranty.

  1. David W. Tribbett Said,

I bought this device to keep 8 rather larges plants watered while I travel every month. I used two drippers per pot and left plenty of extra tubing between the plants. It worked great, really great. I’ve had to use it 5x so far and each time it worked perfectly.

I’ve tried several things in the past including other drip system as well as the 3 different kinds of watering spikes. Not of them worked as well or as easily as the Oasis. Highly recommend this.

After 30 days, all of my plants are alive and well. I can’t believe it worked! It took a little time to set up but it worked as planned.

    Well recommended!

  3. Walter R. Davis Said,

I have had the Oasis for three years and have tried to use it three times – the first time it worked perfectly. The second time I came home to dead plants! It seems that the valve can get stuck – the electronic timer drives a green coil (electro magnet) that opens and closes the water valve. If it is working you can hear it make a “thunk” noise when you move the switch from off to 10. No thunk means the valve is stuck (assumes a new battery). The green coil can be pulled off by removing the machines bottom (just pull it off) and unscrew the nut holding the coil to the valve. A strong magnet can then be moved along the valve to make it open and close. After I did this a few times I reassembled the machine and it is working again – but I don’t trust it! I suspect the very hard water here in the Southwest is making the valve stick. Use distilled water or don’t buy or buy a new one every year!

Have used this continuously for over 2 years – somewhat successfully. I recommend this product and am now buying the replacement. I definitely recommend following the instructions to “prime” the drip system. My major complaint is that replacement parts for any item appear not to be available. The drippers clog when using hard water (anybody recommend how to clean them?); I would like to be able to get replacement drippers. The electronic control (which just failed) is also not replaceable – buy a new unit. Well, as a result of buying a new unit I will now have replacement parts for non-electronic items.

  5. M. B Johnson Said,

My husband and I bought this in June 2006. We used it off an on when we went on trips in 2007. We got it out of storage in August 2008 because we were going on vacation and naturally, it doesn’t work anymore. The battery light comes on, but no water comes out. Removed the hoses and retested it – still nothing. The problem seems to be inside the water containment unit itself. Of course, the warrantee is up – it was only good for 2 years. I hate to throw it away, but at the same time I’m not paying money to ship it to Italy either. I checked the Claber website (English version) and there’s definitely no help there. Too bad there is no US support for this product.
