Stuff like the IRS files on people, or CIA databases. Maybe they want to peek at what the department of Agriculture really does.

I wouldn’t do it for money, I might consider it if someone gives me a good reason why I should suspect a government agency of hiding something people should know.

I would go with “Question Everything”. I would want to know who we’re hacking and why, but my basic ethical premise is that the government lies to us and spies on us all the time, so why not hack if it can shed some light on their evil-doings. That said, I would want to be sure I would not get caught and part 2) comes in as well, what am I getting paid to do this?

Neither the IRS nor the CIA have anything to do with ‘my country’.
Aside from that, I have better things to do with my time, and my life is already rich.
