I wanted an inexpensive misting set to get my mom on mothers day and this was perfect. I searched around and other sets were either poorly rated or far too expensive for my tastes.
I followed the directions for these misters (which were sparse, but enough). It contains 50 feet of hose but recommends 30-40 feet of usable coverage (the remaining ten for scaling up/around a wall). I ended up using about 32 feet which was all I needed, with the ten misters spaced about 2.5 feet apart (with small gaps near the corners and support posts of the patio). The set even comes with a line connector which you could use if you happened to cut the line too short. We like them so much, we are already thinking about extending the line, but we would want to buy some more nozzle heads ( http://www.digcorp.com/DIY/226-Cooling_Mist_Kits_&_Accessories/diy_products ).
I bought some other supplies at Home Depot and got to see the sets they sell in action (Orbit). They are more expensive and the lines looked a little more difficult to assemble. Their spray pattern also seemed to have heavier drops to me, because the streams didn’t spread and dissipate quite like these. The Orbit misting nozzles had metal tips on those while these are plastic. That worried me a little until I saw how easy the Ocean Breeze heads are to remove. I didn’t have any problems with clogging when they were installed, but they should be very easy to clean. Furniture within about 1-1.5 feet of the misters can get wet, but this was not a problem for us.

I installed this with my kids under a pergola. Wonderful addition to this outdoor living space. Initially we placed it too close to the verandah and the upholstered furniture was getting damp. With a few modifications we ended up with a great place to cool off and relax with a glass of lemonade on a hot day. I am going to buy another one now to take to a new location. Great value!

So easy to install. I could not believe how cool it made it on a 93 degree hot and humid day. So pleasurable to sit out on my deck and enjoy the day in a cool breeze. I highly recommend!

When I started looking for misters I read early on in reviews of products that brass heads were the best. I thought that was what I was ordering when I bought this system. It wasn’t until I went back and looked at pictures that I realized they were plastic and I was wrong. Overall the system was easy to install and works pretty well although it does seem to put out too much water from each head leaves puddles pretty quickly under each head.
The vendor Drip Depot is awesome though, there was a manufacturer defect in my kit that was taken care of quickly and easily by Drip Depot.

I had never seen a misting product before, and mine is the only one I have seen. I love it! We installed it only hours before a deck party and did not know what to expect. It was 101 degrees that afternoon and really humid. The mist was wonderful. Our guests thought it was the greatest. Two ladies were from California but had now lived in Oklahoma for many years. They sat right under the mist and relived the ocean mist feeling.
It really did cool the air at least 20 degrees
It was easy to install, but we could have used a few more nail hooks.
Get one! You’ll love it!
