A simple solution to keeping things from freezing with minimal human monitoring. Very useful for those of us residing in a less than warm climate

This doesn't function as we'd hoped it would. It turns on well below 32 degrees & doesn't turn off until it reaches at least 55--sometimes even more! We purchased it for use with a solar array in our chicken coop, and ditched the idea as it ended up using way too much amperage. Since it kept chickens' waterer's heater on too long, we would've needed an extra (expensive) battery just to use this product. Not happy with it at all

bought the thermocube to turn on my circulator pump on my pellet boiler when I am not heating my house with it. Since my pellet boiler is outside it could freeze during a cold snap in late spring otherwise. Using the thermocube I don't have to run the circulator all the time, which saves me money as the pellet boiler takes heat from my oil boiler when it is not burning, just when there is a chance it could freeze and burst.
<br />Just about anyone with an outdoor boiler or other outdoor tanks could use this product at some point.

I bought this device to help regulate the my heat lamp and water font heating device in my hen house. It doesn't work. It wouldn't plug into my outdoor extension cords and when I tried it in a wall socket, it didn;t tirn either device on when it should have (the temperature dropped to the teens). Having said that, I don't know if maybe I got a lemon or what, but I wouldn't recommend it based on this experience.
