Lost original – this one did the job,
If you use reverse osmosis, it doesn’t create enough pressure to get a good flow going through the internal fridge filter. This bypass does the job.

Does what its supposed to,
The filter by-pass plug WR02X11706 for GE fridge does exactly what it is supposed to do. If you have good water and don’t need a filter, you can install this plug once and save lotsa $$$ on filters over the years. It will pay for itself the first time you don’t buy a filter.

U should buy the ass’y instead, slightly more $ but includes this part.,
You should buy the assembly instead which sells on Amazon for slightly more $ but includes this bypass part. You will get all the hoses and the filter mount bracket as well.
