I heard that the data containing the specific details of an international trade in the United States and the importers/exporters are available for free – the info provided by the bill of ladings handed to US customs.
Is this free? Does the govt. really supply such data to everyone? If so, how can I access it?

Aren’t the importers of a commodity, usually whichever country made the product? So if something was made in Taiwan, they are the importers.
I would doubt that, that is made public because that could be a threat to national security. You could always try to research a company and figure out where they get their products made
Otherwise I couldn’t find anything online
