I went from outlook express to windows 7 windows live mail. My emails from outlook are on a flash drive but i can’t seem to import my old emails or export my new ones. How can I get my old emails from outlook onto windows live? How do I back up my windows live emails?

To back up your emails, after opening the program (windows live mail), go to file on the menu bar. If you can’t see file, just hit the ‘alt’ key on your keyboard, it should pop up at the top of the screen. After clicking file, choose export -> messages . . .
This will start a wizard to allow you to export your emails from your windows live mail. Make sure you create a folder on your desktop for you to put the backup in. If you don’t, it will prompt you to do so.
To import, you pretty much do the same thing, instead of choosing export, you choose import and follow the wizard.
