Question by Bendils: How do I start a cereal business?
self employed and currently living with my gram and I came up with a cereal idea that gram is helping me with but I don’t wanna sell the rights away to general mills for pennies. How do I start a cereal business? Gram is fronting the capital..do I need grain processing equipment and can that fit in grams trailer? Does anyone know what I need to start making cereal? I have these ideas that my grams says are great! My friend Rick is helping me, he and I are working on it together but it’s my baby. Please help me with chemicals, cereal making, and business advice

Go to Quaker Oats in Cedar Rapids, IA and take out the head honcho. Only then will you be able to assume control of the company and make your cereal dream.

Here’s the thing……….you ain’t gonna have enough room to mash them oats and honey together that are necessary to make the cereal taste worth a darn. Here’s an idea for a name though…..Gram’s frosted stool…..she will love you to death.
