Question by Simon: How should I set up a simple set of Accounts for a small import/export business in Singapore?
I just set up a small company in Singapore, doing import and export . I wish to set up a simple system of accounts, but have no idea how.

Any guidelines I should follow ? or should I just leave this to the accountant?

I think the best way to start is with IRAS website. The website has lot of info and perhaps that’s the easiest way. If you intend to use a PC or some software for accounting tracking even excel could be fine to start with
