Huxley’s ‘Green Team’ helpsorganize farmers market for town
Huxley became one of more than 220 farmers’ market locations in Iowa this summer when it had its first ever market in June. Farmer’s markets are a growing trend nationwide, but Iowa is leading the way, as the state is ranked second in the nation for number of farmers’ markets per capita, according to a press release from Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Bill Northey.
