The “Resh” bible, is the definitive guidebook about hydroponics. Resh review the actual techniques and different systems he observed over 40 years as well as provide deep technical insight to most of them. This book should the first to be reviewed if you aspire to be a commercial grower and the best reference book for horticultural consultant working with soilless systems.

This is by far the most definitive work I’ve read on the subject. A co-worker of mine recommended this as the “Bible” of hydroponics and he was absolutely right.

It looks like a textbook right down to the ugly cyan/green cover, but it doesn’t matter how a book looks if it’s got it where it counts. Whether you’re a hobbyist or a commercial hydroponics grower, this book is something you’ll have wished you’d read.

Provides a very good knowledge base for reference. The plant nutritional deficiency-disease chart/diagnosis tool is very helpful. A good tool for the serious hobbyist or grower.

Very technical and in depth review of hydroponic gardening and techniques. Probably a bit more information than the average hobbiest needs but packed full of good information. More designed for the large scale operation but the same techniques apply.

As a small commercial grower, this book has been invaluable to us. We used its recommendations for building our greenhouse to selecting the irrigation and media we use. We gained a lot of experience without the usual penalty costs involved. If you are on a budget and can’t afford a library of books, buy this one instead.
