Question by irish04pride: Is Pest control a decent paying job for a man to support his family?
I have been working in the Pest Control field for almost a year now, and I love it! I enjoy everything about my job. But right now I am kind of at a cross roads and my wife and I are about to start a family. I would like to hear from individuals who are raising a family on a pest control salary. Is this a well paying career? Obviously I am not looking to be rich, but I would like to stay in the pest management field if it is a good career to have.

I had a guy that work for me that was in the pest control business for 12 years but the benefits were bad but he loved the job.

Ok, I have a friend that works for a well known pest control company. He has worked for them for several years. He has developed health problems. If you are going to start a family, get a through physical before hand. Yes, you can raise a family on what you make. My friends wife has a better job and carries the benefits. Good Luck
