Question by Al_X364: What type of degree should i have to become an import export worker?
I’m wondering what i should do in college and international import/export seems to be very interesting. I’m planning on learning multiple languages but i don’t know what else to do. Should i take certain classes? What major would be best? what are some other possible majors that would allow me to work in the import/export industry.

Import/export is mostly business, so business management with language study in the country/area you’d really like to focus on would be a good mix.

A degree in International Business would be a good place to start. Many universities now offer degrees, including University of Phoenix in the USA – and they have the ability to allow for remote courses if you don’t have a university near you offering degrees in International Business.
You can also find degrees in Global Economics, while not as easily applicable to day to day import/export business it could get you a foot in the door with many companies.
Good luck!
