Rootech Cloning Gel 7g

  • strongest cloning gel on the market — powerful enough to propagate even the most difficult plants
  • remium formulation of hormones (0.55% I.B.A.), vitamins, and nutrients promotes rapid, healthy root development
  • May be diluted with water for easily cloned plants

Rootech Cloning Gel is an exceptional and unique recipe containing a powerful hormone especially formulated to promote rapid, healthy root development during vegetative propagation. At application, Rootech’s unique formulation surrounds the stem with sustenance it can immediately use.
While Technaflora’s original formulation is among the strongest cloning gels on the market, with a concentration of 0.55% (5.5 g/L) IBA, a potent rooting hormone, the manufacturing process ensures the highly concentrated gel is evenly dispersed, protecting developing rootlets and plant tissues. Rootech Cloning Gel is ideal for propagation of the most hard-to-root plants, and it can also be diluted with water for use on cuttings that will form roots more easily.
Rootech Cloning Gel is packaged in a ready-to-use, wide-mouthed container, into which several cuttings can be dipped at the same time, without the risk of mess and spills. The gel format ensures ease of use, while avoiding the risks of inhaling dusty powders.
Technaflora proudly manufactures Rootech Cloning Gel in Vancouver, and its bountiful results and competitive price continue to make it the choice of gardeners everywhere. Rootech Cloning Gel is a power-packed cloning gel, which consistently fosters robust clones with healthy, fast-growing root systems.

I tested this out on a fruit tree for air layering and it worked like a charm! I’m really happy with the product.

I didn’t realize how small 7g is. It is approximately the size of a tiny lip gloss container women carry in a purse. Anyway, it seems to work well, I have been using it on my chili pepper cuttings, and so far, so good.

Nope, didn’t work for me. I used it on Supertunias (which are supposed to root themselves from cuttings!), a few house plants, and a Rose of Sharon. Possible I needed something more, such as a ‘special’ growing medium, prior to sticking the cuttings in the potting soil, but whatever went wrong – this just did not work for me. The jar is super tiny (smaller then its picture lol), and getting a good coating on the stem to be rooted was not easy from this little jar. Overall, I will save my money next time and clone my plants the old fashion way, snip them, stick them in moist soil, and mist them daily until they either take off or die.
