Saltwater Oceans on Saturn’s Moon, Enceladus
NASA’s Cassini probe has discovered the best evidence to date of liquid salt water oceans similar in make up to those of Earth on Enceladus, one of Saturn’s moons. We’ve known that Enceladus had an icy shell covering its surface for some time, but whether or not an unfrozen liquid ocean existed beneath it, was a question we could not reliably answer.
