No or probably much less than they do now.

Pros:
-those tax dollars could be put to better use (or lower taxes)
-we would be able to import cheaper food overseas.
-farmers overseas will benefit a lot since poor countries tend to be dependent on agriculture.
-related to last one, will increase global trade and prosperity. poor countries will have dollars to buy our goods and services from the money made selling us food.

Cons:
-some farmers in the US may not be able to keep farming and might need to find a different line of work
-we will be less food independent – more vulnerable to global food market volatility
-will be harder to maintain health and quality standards over the food we eat due to larger portion of imports
