I want to know the meaning of export trade and import trade in a country. I would also like to know the importance of import and export. I wanted this information for my economics assignment. So can you please help me.

Importing is bring something in from another country and export is taking something out of the country which some items is very illegal to take out or bring in some countries

Import refers to bringing goods in from another country while export is sending goods from your country to another.
Import and export are important means of trade as it facilitates foreign excahange. Things that are not readily available in your country can be brought in or vice versa.

import is when your country bring goods from other country into your country whiile exporting is when your country send goods to other countries. its importance is that it helps the social economic of every countries which import or export goods. economic needs money and selling imported goods cost more and bring diversity of goods in the society. hope it helps
