Question by VoiceOfReason: What will the Obama Administration do about Hugo Chavez?
Venezuela has seized the assets of the U.S. company Cargill (one of the biggest in purchasing, processing, and distributing grain and other agricultural commodities). Will The Obama Administration:
A. Seize the assets of CITGO in retaliation?
B. Fly Joe Kennedy (JoeForOil.com) down to negotiate?
C. Blame George Bush?
D. Ignore it with the willing help of the Main Stream Media?
E. Apologize to Hugo Chavez personally if any of his soldiers injured themselves in this hostile takeover?
E. Invade?
Feel free to add other possible solutions!

He will congratulate him. Anything that can be done to screw with America is Obamas goal.

F. Ask him for pointers on how to nationalize without protest from the rightful owners of the property nationalized. Or, more specifically, how to nationalize and stifle the protests of the rightful owners.

1. Take the case to the World Court
2. Enforce their decision, jointly with other countries, probably including Russia.
We should not be judging whether Chavez was wrong or right–that is for due process, and Cargill deserves due process as well.

Nothing. Cargill knew the risks of being there.

It’s obvious, he will offer Chavez a trillion dollars to save their economy (providing Chavez doesn’t buy any new corporate jets, or have any special weekends at an expensive resort).

Unlike the previous administration he’s gathering up all RELIABLE sources of information before making a decision.

Invite him to the White house for caviar, Champagne, and $ 100 a pound steaks?

Wow, Venezuela is really going down hill. And now the voters have just extended his rule, perhaps perpetually.
I think the Democrats will either ignore it (D) for as long as possible, or issue a few harsh words with no bite. Not sure what they could do about it though.

invite Chavez to a white house sleep over and honor him as a hero of the people.
